This is a great little activity that I have used at all levels. Basically it involves a digital camera, MS Word and Clip art. It also integrates into many different language activities too.

I get my students to go out and use the Macro function on the digital camera to take some super close up shots of objects. I find plants and flower to be one of the best subjects.
From here the students insert the photo into Word and then search for a clip art using MS Clip art Online. In my examples I have used insects and fairies.

you can also use PhotoShop or another similar program to cut out students and add them to their photos. This is a great idea if you are doing a mini beasts or insect project/unit.
