Wiki Resources

Taken From"Imagine a world in which every single person on the planet is given free access to the sum of all human knowledge. That's what we're doing." Jimmy Wales, Wikipedia founder

Q. How many Wiki people does it take to change a lightbulb?
A. One, but anyone can change it back.
Why use a wiki?
Wikis promote collaborative writing by allowing multiple users to edit any page, with full freedom to edit, change and delete the work of previous authors.Wikis maintain a history of all revisions to each page, including who made what changes. All visitors can be collaborators, or access to edit the wiki can be limited to approved users. Wikis are a great online tool for ongoing or long-term projects! For a window into how the world's best known wiki, Wikipedia, works, Check out the evolution of information in this London Bombings wikipedia article or this amazing map- which is probably being edited at this moment.
